aiming to maintain the consistency of processes and
workflows across the entire fleet. This consistency not
only facilitates crew training but also simplifies person-
nel transfers between vessels.
Additionally, contextualisation is essential to fleet opti-
misation, with inspections and procedures being tailored
to the unique equipment and layout of each vessel. By
providing specific guidance in real time, often through
mobile apps or digital platforms, crew members can
efficiently access the information they need during their
duties. Deduplication efforts can also help meet inspec-
tion requirements of various regulatory regimes, reduc-
ing redundancy and simplifying onboard procedures.
